Payment and consumption tax

Payment method

Our online shop accepts payment by credit card.

Accepted credit cards

Visa / Mastercard / JCB / American Express / Diners Club / Discover

The name on your credit card must match the billing name. Payment is confirmed upon completion of the transaction, at which point we will begin preparing your order for shipment. If you want to know when your payment will be withdrawn, check with your credit card company about their closing and due dates.

Consumption tax

All prices displayed in our shop are tax inclusive.

Delivery and shipping fees

Delivery method

Ice cream:  Cool TA-Q-BIN (frozen food shipping)

Domestic shipment only

Shipping fees

Orders of ¥6,000 or more are eligible for free shipping.

Delivery

Products ship approximately 3–5 business days after you place your order.

In the unlikely event that a shipment is delayed, we will notify you by email. Weekends, holidays, and extended holidays do not count as business days.

During checkout, you can specify a delivery date that is at least 8 days after your order date and one of the following delivery times:

・Morning

・2–4 PM

・4–6 PM

・6–8 PM

・7–9 PM

Note: Because ice cream must be kept frozen, be sure to specify a date and time when someone will be at the address to receive the order. Orders will be delivered by Yamato Transport.

Returns, exchanges, and warranty

Returns and exchanges

Although we make every effort to ensure quality, in the unlikely event that the content of an order is in error or there is a quality problem such as damage to a product, we ask that you hold onto the product and contact us within two days from the date of delivery for food products or within seven days for all other products.

Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons attributable to the customer. If you are unable to receive your order due to circumstances within your control, the product cost and shipping fee are your responsibility and cannot be refunded.

Return shipping fees

If a delivered product exhibits a defect attributable to Darcy’s Factory, we will cover the return shipping fees.

Order changes and cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us within two days of placing the order. We cannot cancel orders or process changes after the order has shipped.

If you wish to change the delivery address after the order has shipped, please contact Yamato Transport. You will be responsible for a fixed shipping fee based on the cost of shipment from the original delivery address shown on the shipping label to the new delivery address. This fee is collected on delivery and must be paid by a consignee at the delivery address.

Gift orders

Noshi gift-wrapping

Noshi gift-wrapping is only available for ice cream orders. If you would like noshi gift-wrapping, tell us the occasion and the sender’s name in the Comments field when checking out.

Packing slip


If the customer address differs from the delivery address, the packing slip will not indicate any prices.

Gift packaging


For gift orders, we package the products in a gift box instead of wrapping paper. Orders intended as birthday gifts will also include a birthday sticker. If you would like gift packaging and/or a birthday sticker, let us know in the Requests field when checking out. (Gift packaging is only available for ice cream orders.)

Prohibition on resale of products


From the viewpoint of product quality assurance and brand image, we strictly prohibit reselling products sold in our online shop, and purchasing them for resale or profit. If unauthorized sales are discovered or if sales are attempted, we will take strict action, such as canceling your order and refusing to accept future orders.

We cannot guarantee the quality or delivery status of products purchased from any store other than the official Darcy’s online shop or dealers authorized by our company (including online stores of authorized dealers), so in the unlikely event that you purchase a resold product and experience trouble or quality problems, we will not be responsible in any way.
